Doomsday Image Research Group B
末研部，原名末日影像研究部。
末研部是一個拍攝以及研究末日影像的劇組團隊，討論當代影像資訊對於真實的影響，試圖反映出影像產生的「末日恐慌」、「末日場景感」造成人類真實感受的錯置。為期四天的工作時間，我們將針對電影中提供的影像場景，利用周遭環境和素材，計畫如何拍攝一部末日電影。
1998年美國的第一齣科幻災難片《世界末日》（Armageddon）後，伴隨著我們這個世代長大的災難片不盡其數，當生活中的細節與電影場景不謀而合時，都將使我們產生末日的既視感，視覺導向經驗給予的真實感越來越強烈，甚至取代人類的真實體驗和記憶，什麼樣的經驗更趨近於真實，分析末日影像成分極為重要，也成為我們當前該面對的課題：探討資訊對於真實感受侵入性的影響，意圖反擊資訊末日對我們的侵擾，成為這世代的恐慌救星。

我們在完成此次末日影像研究計畫後，決定將規劃出版品的發行。
出版內容包含：計畫研究文字內容、計畫中所使用的影像、活動紀錄側拍、分鏡圖、剪輯完成的動態影像等。

Doomsday Image Research Group B, or DIRGB, is a film crew that shoots and studies pictures and videos of the end of the world. By discussing the impact of contemporary photography and information on reality, DIRGB attempts to reflect the "apocalyptic panic" and "sense of déjà vu of doomsday scenes" that happen when one displaces doomsday images onto reality. During the four days of work, we watched and analyzed some movies, and explored and shot scenes in the surrounding that would stimulate our imagination of doomsday.
Since the first American science fiction disaster film Armageddon was produced in 1998, there have been countless disaster films that were popular among the people from our generation. When daily lives coincide with the film scenes, the sense of reality given by visual experience gets stronger and stronger, even replacing one’s real experiences and memory. Therefore, to understand what events are closer to reality, the analysis of the components of doomsday becomes a crucial issue for human. That is, to discuss the significant influences that information has on human feelings, and try to counter the intrusion of apocalyptic information, to become the panic savior of this generation.
