Ariel洗衣精、洗衣機
尺寸依空間而異
此件作品邀請觀眾將身上的衣服脫下，丟進洗衣機烘洗，再換上掛在展牆上的白色短袖上衣，在等待洗衣和烘衣的過程中，觀眾可以穿著白色上衣參觀展覽，或者也可以暫時離開展場。完成洗衣的程序後（大約七十分鐘），觀眾再將洗好的個人上衣穿上，帶走一種香味離開展區，或者說，觀眾是帶走另一種「人的氣息」離開。
這個「人的氣息」是創作者想像將洗衣精的香味冠名為Ariel的人物，透過洗衣機的運轉，洗潔個人衣物上的體味，讓洗衣精氣味充斥在衣服上，而這樣的氣味在你的身邊迴盪，陪伴觀眾回家，成為你的親密的伴侶。
體臭、汙垢、汗漬、氣味是人體活動後的殘留物，這樣的殘留（剩餘）可以做為一個人的標誌和痕跡，在污垢裡可以看見人類分泌賀爾蒙的在場，是「自我」的一種指稱、符號。
在清潔、洗淨的轉換過程裡，除垢後，將衣物增添了洗潔劑的化學香氣，而這種香氣讓創作者能夠加以名狀，成為一個人物「Ariel」出現在衣物上，轉化了髒污缺席後的場景，一位虛構的人物成為幽靈徘徊在身旁，香味提供虛構幻影的想像，作為一個人的氣息出席現場，而視域卻又無法望穿此虛構人物Ariel的面目，一個去中心的、去自我的意義在衣物的場域被延展開來。
有沒有可能將虛構的Ariel作為色情網站上的女演員？透過網站可以搜尋到一位藝名為Ariel的色情女演員，當今的數位生活已成為慾望生產和消費的場域，透過面對情色影像已然達成情慾消費的現象，我再將Ariel之名指向那位被意淫的慾望對象，她是位親密愛人、伴侶、激情的慾望遐想，更甚至是超越現實世界的精神幻想。數位虛擬影像已潛越現實生活的真實性，觸引虛擬想像越界於現實的生活場景，我們已沈溺於數位時代的影像世界，無法自拔的瘋狂。
作品參與方式：
(1)選擇適合的白色上衣，進入更衣室更換。
(2)將上衣脫掉，丟進洗衣機。
(3)選擇快洗快烘模式，並倒入適量的Ariel洗衣精。
(4)按下開始鍵。
(5)等待約七十分鐘後取衣。
(6)將白色上衣脫下並且放置更衣室的衣物籃。
(7)換上清洗好的個人上衣離開展場。

This work invites the audience to take off their clothes, throw them into the washing machine to wash them, and then put them on the white short t-shirts hanging on the side of the wall. While waiting for the laundry and drying process, the audience can wear a white t-shirt to visit the exhibition, or leave the venue temporarily.After completing the cleaning procedure (about 70 minutes), the audience put on the washed personal clothes and took away a fragrance from the exhibition venue.In other words, the audience took away another " smell of the human " and left.
This " smell of the human " is the creator's imagination of the character who named the fragrance of laundry detergent as Ariel.
Through the operation of the washing machine, the body odor on the personal clothes was washed, so that the smell of laundry detergent filled the clothes, and this smell will be around you, like that a close lover accompanied you home.
Participation methods of works:
(1) Choose a suitable white t-shirt and put on it in the dressing room.
(2) Take off your clothes and throw them into the washing machine.
(3) Select the quick laundry and quick drying mode, and pour in amount of Ariel detergent.
(4) Press the start key.
(5) Wait for about 70 minutes before taking out the clothes.
(6) Take off the white t-shirt and put in the clothes basket in the dressing room.
(7) Put on a cleaned personal clothes and leave the exhibition venue.
